What age is the kids workshop suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for children from age 6 with an adult, and from age 10 children can also join on their own. We adapt the activities to the age group.
Can parents join the workshop?
Yes. From ages 6 to 9 an adult joins each child and makes their own soap too, at no extra cost. From age 10 children can attend without a parent.
Is soap making safe for children?
Yes. We use a melt & pour soap base that only needs gentle warming — no lye or dangerous chemicals — and our host supervises every step.
How many children can join?
We run small groups of 4 to 12 children so everyone gets attention and help. Larger school or family groups can be arranged on request.
What do the children take home?
Every child takes home the handmade soaps they made, usually two bars, wrapped and ready to use.
Where does the workshop take place?
Sessions are held in a cozy space at Czaar Peterstraat 74, Amsterdam-Oost. We can also come to your location for private groups.
Do the children need to bring anything?
No. All materials, moulds, colours, fragrances and aprons are provided — just come as you are.
What if a child has allergies?
Let us know when you book. We use natural ingredients and can adapt recipes for common allergens such as nuts or certain fragrances.
